Film Festival Final Programme

Bridgwater College’s inaugural Film and Music Festival will be held on 21st and 22nd April 2016. The aim of the festival is to promote and celebrate the work of young people locally and nationally that can be shared and enjoyed by their peers and the local community. Bridgwater College’s Film and Music festival will give artists and audiences the chance to enjoy output from fresh creative voices keen to become involved in the creative industries.

The festival is a two-day event that will include screenings from competition submissions, Bridgwater College students and industry professionals. Talks, panels and debates will be held involving filmmakers – those working at the height of their professions as well as those embarking on their careers – with a view to engaging audiences in cultural interaction. The schedule also includes exciting and stimulating DJ and band performances combing the worlds of film and music.

We are inviting short film submissions from young people attending local schools and colleges, but also from aspiring filmmakers in the community. This is an excellent opportunity to screen your work and to be nominated for an award at our ceremony and wrap party held on the evening of Friday 22nd April.
