About the Film Festival

The Bridgwater and Taunton College Film Festival is an annual celebration of the media of short film. It’s aim: to promote and celebrate the work of young people so that it can be shared and enjoyed by their peers and the local community. The Festival gives artists and audiences the chance to enjoy output from fresh creative voices keen to become involved in the creative industries.

After the undeniable success of the first festival in 2016, it is returning on the 20th of April 2017 to share the latest work of young creatives. Hosted at the McMillan Theatre, Bridgwater, the day will feature screenings from nominated films within the competition categories as well as a showcase of current student’s work.
